I’m Eliza, a London based wedding and elopement photographer, but because I love travelling, you’ll find me just about anywhere. I haven’t left the camera out of my hand since I’ve decided I wanted to pursue wedding photography full time and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve done so far. I still can’t believe I get to do what I love the most and I can call this my job.
I don’t mind waking up at 3am in the morning and drive if it means I’ll get to see the most amazing sunrise even if I’m not a morning person. Sunsets have my heart too! I love the nature and everything God created; He did it all so we can take advantage of it. I am a strong believer that we should all create memories and spend quality time together, rather than buy physical things with our money. We remember the experiences, not the products.
I have a love and hate relationship with sleep: I love sleep but I hate sleeping; I feel like I’m wasting my time instead of being productive, especially at night time when everyone’s sleeping and I can get so many things done. I will always choose fruits and vegetables over sweets, but you can always buy me with a Coke or ice-cream .. I’m a Coke addict! Does this sound anything like you? I love food; I live for food, but I hate the process of cooking it so I prefer eating out instead.
It’s important to me that we get to know each other, connect and make sure we get along. I want to listen to your story and your wedding expectations – how you dreamed your wedding will be like since you were a little girl. You will feel a lot more comfortable with me on your wedding day if we know a bit about each other beforehand, which means your pictures are going to be amazing and you’ll treasure them for years to come. Your children will too!
I love shooting non-traditional weddings so I am not keen on the traditional and cheesy poses either – you won’t have to smile for the camera too much. Instead, I concentrate on the emotions and the most important parts of the day. I capture the real you, the most sincere and genuine smiles, the fun you have together, and the story your love tells. The last thing you want on your wedding day is to feel embarrassed or uncomfortable while I document it all; so please let’s meet – I promise we’ll get along!
